StormScope privacy information
Last updated: October 7, 2026
StormScope prepares draft storm-damage documentation from information a homeowner chooses to provide. It does not file claims or contact insurers or contractors.
Information processed
When you use StormScope through an AI client, that client sends the information needed for your request to this service. This can include room dimensions, ZIP code, damaged components, severity, claim dates, property details, and text copied from an insurance estimate. Avoid submitting information that is not needed for the requested task.
Stateless public tools do not save claim records in StormScope. For catalog lookups, StormScope sends the ZIP code and requested component or trade keys to Supabase to retrieve reference data. It does not send property addresses or carrier-estimate text to Supabase. The pricing catalog is currently empty until reviewed data is loaded.
Service providers and logs
The AI client, hosting provider, and database provider process data as needed to operate their services and may maintain operational logs under their own terms and retention settings. StormScope does not control those providers’ retention practices. Do not assume that information sent through an AI client or network service is confidential solely because StormScope does not save a claim record.
Retention and choices
StormScope’s public tools do not retain claim inputs in an application database after responding. Private claim-workspace tools are not enabled on the public endpoint. The hosting provider may process request metadata and runtime logs according to its plan and configured retention controls; those timelines are set by the hosting account and are not controlled by StormScope. Your AI client may separately retain conversation content under its own settings and policy.
You control whether to use the service and what information to include. You can omit optional personal details, stop using the service, and use your AI client’s available conversation and privacy controls. Do not submit sensitive identifiers or unrelated personal information.
Contact
For product questions or privacy requests, use the StormScope support issue tracker. Do not post claim documents, addresses, policy numbers, or other private details in a public issue.
